We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Administrator & Bookkeeper who will be joining a busy and cross-skilled team, taking on responsibility for a wide number of important functions that will include:
Setting up new customers and projects and importing sales invoices into Sage.
Uploading data to factoring portal and monthly reporting to factoring company.
Bank and Credit card reconciliations.
Credit Control management and Debtor reporting.
Preparation of payment runs.
Managing Sub Contractor billing and issuing new self-billing agreements to new subcontractors.
Managing contract renewals.
With training taking on the management of specific service plans.
Raising Purchase Orders and processing Purchase Ledger invoices.
Quarterly VAT returns.
Preparing and reviewing Creditor & Debtor Reports.
Running monthly payroll including RTI submissions and pensions (if you have this experience only).
Supervising junior staff.
As the Senior Finance Administrator & Bookkeeper you will be joining a well-established and fast growing service provider that works across the South East offering a comprehensive service to a wide number of clients. This ensures both career and salary progression opportunities.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need:
Experience of Sage Line 50 Accounts and ideally Payroll and Xero or other accounting software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience of using Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.
Excellent attention to detail skills and ideally some auditing experience.
To be dynamic and able to move with the times in what is a fast-paced and growing business.
To embrace change and technology, be innovative and a forward thinker, a problem solver with proactive solutions and process driven.
The ability to prioritise and manage your workload in what can be a pressured environment, be committed and hungry to progress with the ability to multitask and think on your feet.
If you are working towards AAT or similar that would be useful.
In return is a salary of between £30,000 and £35,000 which is negotiable based on level of experience and current package, four weeks paid holiday plus all bank holidays, enrolment into the pension scheme, a laptop, career progression and initially office based (depending on coronavirus restrictions) with the opportunity for a flexible home / office based working location when fully trained.
Our Client’s Office is based just outside Cobham so you will need your own transport to get to and from work but when in the office there is free parking.
