We are recruiting for an office based Business Development Executive on behalf of a company based just outside Northampton who offer a variety of products and services to a diverse customer base across the UK that includes Schools, Nurseries, Local Authorities, Facilities Manager Companies, Housing Developers, Commercial Developers, Town & Parish Councils etc.,
Asthe Business Development Executive, you will be joining a close working, friendly and enthusiastic team who support the externally based sales team by taking and making calls promoting both the services and products they offer, understand needs, generate sales meetings as well as nurture and further strengthen existing customer relationships.
This will be an equally challenging, varied, and exciting job where making things happen is the key requirement and where maintaining a positive mindset and enthusiastic approach is key.
As the Business Development Executive, you will:
Make outbound calls to existing and potential new customers.
Ensure enquiries are recorded and contact is made to gain the detail needed.
Follow up on leads that are generated by marketing campaigns.
Work closely with the Marketing and External Sales Team to identify current market trends and patterns to enhance revenue generating opportunities.
Support the External Sales Team with their opportunity pipeline.
Create new and referral meetings by building solid relationships with existing and target customers.
Generate leads for specific Group Companies.
Work with the external sales team ensuring they have the relevant information for their meetings and that their diaries are scheduled efficiently.
Follow up on quotations and future opportunities to ensure a consistent sales pipeline.
To be considered for this role you will need:
To be a confident communicator, happy to spend your time on the phone making and receiving calls, always working to understand the need and promote the ways in which the company, their products and services could assist with the clear aim of securing an appointment with one of the sales team
A proven track record of hitting sales and call targets.
A can-do attitude, the ability to always remain calm and positive, be confident in your approach and ability to speak to people on the phone.
To be highly organised with the ability to multi-task, possess strong administration skills with experience of using and an understanding of the importance of correctly recording contact, opportunities and appointments booked on internal CRM and Diary Management software.
On offer is a basic salary of between £20,000 and £23,000, 28 Days Holiday, Pension Scheme and on-site parking and the opportunity to join a well-established, friendly, and enthusiastic team of office-based sales professionals who support the wider externally based sales team responding to incoming sales leads and generating their appointments.
Please note that you will need your own transport as there is no bus or train route near their offices.
