We are recruiting for a Sales Consultant for a Surrey based company that works within the Japanese Knotweed and Invasive Species sector (Bamboo, Himalayan Balsam etc.,) sector offering advice and solutions on both treatment and removal across a wide customer base that includes retail, leisure & hospitality, office & industrial, utilities, sports, emergency services, property managers, construction, historical properties, private & social housing, healthcare, public sector, facilities management, education and rail.
As the Sales Consultant, you will be:
Responsible for sales growth within your designated area.
Offering advice and solutions on the treatment and removal of Japanese Knotweed and other invasive species.
Carrying out residential surveys, preparing and submitting management plans.
Where suitably qualified carrying out commercial surveys, meeting clients on site, advising on treatment options, preparing sales proposals including technical recommendations with related costings.
Following up on sales proposals with the aim of securing business for both treatment and removal of Japanese Knotweed, Bamboo etc.,
Assisting the senior management team with marketing initiatives as required, delivering webinars, attending networking events etc.,
Assisting the senior management team to build relationships with professional advisors including Solicitors, Surveyors and Estate Agents as well as with existing and potential customers to further develop repeat and referral-based business.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate:
Strong account management and new business development experience.
Strong communication skills.
Solution-based sales experience.
The ability and confidence to influence key decision makers.
Experience of undertaking field surveys, collating data and of writing reports. (If you have a minimum of one year’s surveying, environmental or related industry experience, that would be an advantage), key is willingness to learn and continually develop your skills within this niche sector.
A good knowledge of MS Office applications and of CRM software.
Experience of delivering client-focused solutions to customers’ needs.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong cross selling skills.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
The ability to maintain a positive and motivated approach to your work.
