We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of one of the UK’s leading asbestos management solutions providers who will take on responsibility for the development of new business within London and the South East targeting the Construction, Education, Healthcare, Demolition, Retail, Property Management, Licensed Retail, Catering, Leisure, Manufacturing and Industry Sectors.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships and gaining new business opportunities by promoting the company’s technical, on-site and training services (which includes surveys and removal specifications through to proactive management plans along with professional, engaging asbestos and health and safety compliance training and approval by accredited experts covering both classroom based and online training) for Public and Private sector Clients.
The Business Development Manager will be:
Responsible for identifying and targeting new opportunities for their wide range of services.
Liaising with both the Internal Sales and Commercial teams to identify and implement a sales strategy for the South East.
Establishing and maintaining contact with prospective clients.
Achieving set sales targets.
Assisting the management team in pricing projects / contracts and converting sales.
This job is suited to an experienced Sales Professional:
Whose personality and characteristics enable you to foster relationships and work consultatively with a variety of clients.
Has demonstrable experience in B2B solution sales in a highly regulated and/or compliance driven industry.
Who has a strong work ethic along with excellent time management and organisational skills.
Who is a confidant and mature communicator possessing both diligence and perseverance.
On offer is a basic salary to £40,000, a bonus scheme along with commission based incentives, company vehicle, pension scheme and the opportunity to develop a career within a market leading organisation.
Living location is within the South East, there is an office base but this is to be considered a mostly home based role so suiting people living in Essex, Surrey, Kent, Greater London, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire or Hampshire who are happy to cover the South East as an area.
