We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manageron behalf of the market leading company that offers a comprehensive product portfolio for National Housebuilders, Regional and Local Builders and Civil Engineers.
Our client is very much a talent spotting and developing employer and with this new recruitment is looking to expand their external sales team.
The Area Sales Manager will be:
Taking on responsibility for a number of construction related accounts in the local area where you will be strengthening the existing relationships and using that relationship to further develop business.
Promoting a range of construction related products and services within the housebuilder sector across a set area (Leeds to Hull).
Ensuring that current business levels are maintained and new opportunities are fully investigated and targeted to continually grow sales within your area.
You will need the following skills and experience:
Relatable experience; this can be from working in a solution based or technical sales role, from working as an Estate Agent selling new build properties or working for a housebuilder selling properties, having sold products into the new build sector.
Be looking to utilise career to date to bring fresh ideas, thoughts, enthusiasm, drive and passion into a company that embraces all of these and be part of some very exciting growth plans.
A full UK driving licence and be happy to cover an area that runs from Leeds to Hull.
The ability to develop relationships, be a good listener, understand and quote for the required products and services.
This role is all about developing the relationship and winning business within the construction sector, you will be fully trained and supported so that you understand the company, what they offer and how they win business.
In return, the Sales Executive will receive a basic salary of between £23,000 and £27,000 which is negotiable on experience, and open ended commission scheme where you can control your earning potential (with a guide of OTE (On Target Earnings of £44,000), a company car (Mercedes A Class, The VW T-Roc or equivalent), five weeks holiday plus all bank holidays, laptop, mobile and pension scheme.
